Enquiries have gone quiet, so the website must be the problem, so it needs replacing. That is the usual chain of reasoning, and it is expensive, because a rebuild is the most costly answer to a question nobody has checked yet.
Most of the time the site does not need replacing. It needs about five specific things changed.
Every one of those is a copy and structure problem. A new website built on the same thinking will have the same problems in a nicer typeface.
Those are structural. No amount of rewriting fixes a site you cannot maintain.
The test I use: could someone who has never heard of you land on your homepage and, in ten seconds, say what you do, who for, and what to do next? If the answer is no, that is a fix. If the answer is yes and it still is not working, look deeper.
Work through the site properly before spending anything. Rewrite the headline so it names what you do and who for. Move the call to action above the fold. Add one real photo of you. Cut the menu back to five items. Check the whole thing on a phone.
Those five changes cost you an afternoon. If enquiries improve, you have your answer and you have saved thousands. If nothing shifts, you now have evidence rather than a hunch, and a rebuild is a much easier decision to justify.
My free website audit guide is that afternoon, written down. Structure, copy, trust signals, calls to action and mobile, with two bonus resources on email marketing and Meta ads.
Fill in the short form and I will look at your site properly and come back to you with what I would change first. No charge and no obligation.
If you would rather someone else made the call, book a free discovery call. I will tell you which of the two it is, even when the answer is that you do not need to hire me.
